As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my heart was overflowing with gratitude for the beauty of the day, and the cool air to breath! The beauty of His creation surrounded me everywhere I looked. What a perfect day to offer sacrifices of praise and gratitude.
What about you my friend? Are you greatful today for all He has given you to enjoy. Have you ever considered that perhaps you are not getting your prayers answered because you are not grateful for what God has already done for you. The scriptures teach us that we should continually give God thanks; we should live with an attitude of gratitude.
You may say, "I've been through so many disappointments. I lost my business last year. My relationship didn't work out; my children are not following God. But if it had not been for the goodness of God, you could have lost it all. If not for God's mercy, you might not even be here today.
As you walk your seashore of life today, start thanking God for what you have today to enjoy and for all He has maintained in your life. I promise you that you will find things to be grateful for -- and watch change take place in your life!
Psalm 92:1-2 -- "It is good to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness by night."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the air was cool and the sky was blue -- reflecting the change of the new season that has arrived. The ocean has definitely lined up with the new season that has appeared.
What about the new season in your life. God has clearly said to us in Isaiah that He is doing a new thing in our lives. I am sure we all have seasons we are glad have passed -- seasons of being pressed, pushed down, discouraged, broken hearted, suffering from sickness, financial challenges. Everyone has seasons of life that are hard to endure.
But the incredible blessing we have is knowing that we serve a God that will never leave us, nor forsake us. He walks with us every step of the way. What an awesome thought -- to know that no matter what season of life you are in, what suffering may be in your path -- He is there beside you waiting to take you to the other side. How can we not rejoice, knowing our Father is there beside us.
As you walk your seashore of life today, be thankful, and know your new season is approaching! It is a time for a new beginning in your life! He is there waiting for you with new blessings!
Revelation 21:5 -- "He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!'"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of the tide and how it flows in an out of it's boundaries day after day, never going further than God has assigned it from the beginning of time. Even thought I don't understand it, it continues to happen -- day after day.
Did you know that a lack of understanding of how God does things can wear you out? If you don't understand His ways, you could end up fighting and resisting things, thinking they are an attack from the devil, when in reality they are an attempt by the Lord to work something good in your life.
You know God does not do bad things. But sometimes you may fail to realize that everything that feels bad to you is not necessarily bad for you. Reminding yourself that His ways are not your ways will help you trust Him even when your circumstances are hard to understand.
As you walk your seashore of life today, just put yourself in the hands of almighty God . . . and rest in the knowledge that He is good and knows what's best.
Isaiah 55:8-9 -- "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts."

As I walked the seashore with Jesus today, I thought of the purpose of each of God's creatures in the ocean. My thoughts then turned to the purpose we each have on the earth.
Have you ever thought, "What is my purpose in life?" Each of us wants to feel we have a purpose . . . that we're making a meaningful differnce in the world.
God has a purpose for each of us, and that is to do right and glorify God.
How do you pursue your purpose? By getting up each day and putting God first. There are many other things we may be tempted to chase after -- job position, education, relationships, money, material possessions, and so on. But too often when you attain these things your life is just as empty and unfulfilled as when you started.
God knows what you need and is well aware of your heart's desires, and He will grant them if you will just pursue your purpose by seeking Him first.
Matthew 6:33 -- "But seek first of all His kingdom and His righteousness, and then all these things taken together will be given you besides."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I felt the Holy Spirit whispering to me -- all is well. Isn't that a wonderful feeling to experience?
My experience with the prompting of the Holy Spirit has been that when He directs you, there is an indescribably peace in your body, mind, and spirit that you feel but can't explain to anyone who hasn't experienced it. God's Spirit would never direct us to do anything contrary to Scripture, so we have a guidebook that can help us too.
You've probably said in certain situations, "I knew in my heart that such and such was..." Those are probably times God's Spirit was prompting you.
What will you do when you think you are being prompted by the Holy Spirit to take a certain action? I would suggest you ask for clarity . . . wait for the answer then move as He speaks to your spirit.
Today as you walk your seashore of life, slow down, and listen. He is there waiting to speak to you in whatever situation you may need His guidance. He will show you the way!
Psalm 139:16 -- "All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus, I watched a little mound of sand that had once been a beautiful sandcastle, be wiped out by the waves. Watching that sandcastle be wiped away with one swift wave made me think of one word that completely wipes out our pasts . . . that is "forgiveness."
Did you ever wish you could start over? Probably all of us have longed for another change in some area of our lives. We wouldn't necessarily have done things differently, just more or perhaps less. The truth is, we can't go backward, only forward into uncharted territory. To sit in our sorrow would lead to misery and that is not what our Father in heaven wants for us!
There is no guarantee that if we had done a part of our lives differently things would end any differently. We just have to trust the God of the universe who directs the outcome of all things that He will do that which ultimately needs to be done. We must know that He, through the tool of forgiveness, will make our path clean again.
Today as you walk your seashore of life, live with no regrets, ask for forgiveness, and move forward trusting God as your pilot in life! He is the one who knows the way!
Ezekiel 18:30 - 31 -- "Repent! Turn away from all your offenses, then sin will not be your downfall. Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I once again am reminded of how much I love His wonderful ocean . . . a place to listen to sounds that only the waves can make.
I have walked miles along the shoreline, leaving my footprints in the sand which are then invaded by an endless ebb and flow of the tide. These moments bring an unspeakable calm. I can see with a clear mind and heart all the ways God has held my life and walked me through the violent storms to bring me to a restful place. Even the bad memories -- those painful reminders of hurt and disappointment -- somehow get covered with sweet forgiveness and a yearning for all to be right and true under the warm blanket of the Lord's mercy.
It is when my mind is stayed on Jesus, when my eyes look toward eternal things, when my ears listen way beyond the voices of the day, that I hear the ocean sing. The Lord miraculously puts everything into His perspective when my mind thinks on Him . . . and Him alone.
As you walk your seashore of life today, let your mind be at peace as you meditate on the things your Heavenly Father has done for you! Then true peace will be your strength!
Romans 15:13 -- "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I noticed the changes on the beach as the new season arises.
Like it or not, constant change is part of modern life. What in the world doesn't change? God's love or His Word never changes.
When you think you have had about all the change you can stand, reach out and take one step further into God's wide arms. Though His love and power never change, He made you with a big, elastic spiritual cord that stretches with every tug and pull. He knows exactly how much give it's got. If He's calling you to stretch, He knows you've got what it takes! Reach!
God knows change can make your life richer. Live for today but hold your hands open to tomorrow. Anticipate the future and it's changes with joy. There is a seed of God's love in every event, every circumstance, every unpleasant situation in which you may find yourself. Don't get stuck in a rut or hung up on an outdated blessing! You serve a God of change!
John 14:1 -- "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I picked up a broken reed that had washed upon the beach. It was shredded and broken by the lashing of the waves, but I am sure it was once beautiful.
That is sometimes how we feel -- broken and torn to pieces by the waves of life that come against us. And sometimes we even have to be broken, pruned by our Heavenly Father, to grow into the beautiful creatures He has destined for each of us to become.
I once watched my gardener prune a lovely myrtle tree in my yard until it looked like it had been scalped. I was furious because all of a sudden, my beautiful myrtle tree became an ugly sight to look at every day as I drove into my driveway. But this summer that same tree has been more beautiful than it has ever been . . . fuller, with more incredible flowers ever! The pruning was the path to become more beautiful. And that is what our Heavenly Father has to do with us to bring us into the fullness of the spiritual beauty He has for us.
As you walk your seashore of life today, think of the pain of the pruning in your own life, and see how much more beautiful you have become through that pain. Know that our Father really does know when and how to shape us into the spiritual beings He planned from the beginning -- know today that you are beautiful!
John 15:1 -- "My Father is the gardener."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my heart was again filled with gratitude for the amazing blessing of a new day surrounded by the beauty of the ocean.
Do you wake up every day thanking Him for your blessings? Or do you tend to see only the problems that are waiting for your attention? If you knew you only had a month to live, which do you think your focus would be on . . . your blessings or your problems? I think if you only had one month to live, you would take time to -- walk longer on the beach, stop to speak to a lonely person, watch a child play at the beach, enjoy the sunset and the peace it brings, wake up early to catch the glorious sunrise . . . while you are here.
What do you think? It gives us an eternal perspective when we think of only having a few days left on this earth. Most of us would immediately change what we spend most of our time doing. We would not be so concerned about the little things that creep into our lives to steal our joy and our gratitude daily. All of a sudden, we realize we are on the journey to the end -- and we need to make every moment count while we are on this earth!
Today as you walk your seashore of life, think about how you would live differently if you had only 30 days to live. What will you allow to become your focus? And how much more grateful will you be each day you live?
Psalm 145:2 -- "Every day I will bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a storm was brewing on the horizon and I had to hurry to safety to escape.
I thought about storms in our lives. Have you ever seen people who, through some disaster, was driven to great times of prayer? And have you noticed that once the disaster was long forgotten, a spiritual sweetness remained that warmed their souls?
It reminds me of a severe storm I once saw in late spring -- one in which darkness covered the sky, except where the light violently split the clouds with its thundering power. The wind blew and the rain fell, as though heaven had opened it windows.
What devastation there was! The storm uprooted even the strongest of oaks, and not one spider web escaped the wind, despite being hidden from view. But soon, after the lightning was gone, the thunder ceased and was silent, and the rain was over; a western wind arose with a sweet and gentle break, chasing the dark clouds away. I saw the retreating storm throw a scarf of rainbows over her fair shoulders and her glowing neck. She looked at me, smiled, and then passed from my sight.
Afterwards -- the grass was greener, the streams were filled and the trees, because of their lush foliage, cast a more restful shade. Isn't that how we are in our lives after the storms, greener, richer, stronger and more restful -- because of the storms we have survived! Be thankful today for the storms in our lives and know you will come out better on the other side!
1 Corinthians 1:5 -- "In Him you have been enriched in every way!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the ocean was calm and smooth as glass. It depicted the peace of God.
Two painters were once asked to paint a picture illustrating his own idea of rest. The first chose for his scene a quiet, lonely lake, nestled among mountains far away. The second, using swift, broad strokes on his canvas, painted a thundering waterfall. Beneath the falls grew a fragile birch tree, bending over the foam. On its branches, nearly wet with the spray from the falls, sat a robin on its nest.
The first painting was simply a picture of stagnation and inactivity. The second, however, depicted rest.
Outwardly, Christ endured one of the most troubled lives ever lived. Storms and turmoil, turmoil and storms -- wave after wave broke over Him until His worn body was laid in the tomb. Yet His inner life was as smooth as a sea of glass and a great calm was always there.
Remember as you walk your seashore of life today -- rest is not some holy feeling that comes upon us in church. It is a state of calm rising from a heart deeply and firmly established in God.
John 14:27 -- "My peace I give you."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I saw a few clouds in the sky . . . but behind the clouds was an incredible sunrise. I watched the beauty of the sunrise truly outweigh the grayness of the clouds, as it came bursting through the clouds to create a glorious day!
Today I see how we let the things the devil throws at us daily steal our joy! We get focused on the cloudy things in our lives and forget the glorious blessings that are there every day!
That is why we have to refuse to magnify the devil. Refuse to magnify the trouble. Refuse to magnify the negative circumstance. Don't analyze your trouble with a magnifying glass -- this will only lead to deeper discouragement. Magnify the Lord! Speak of His greatness, His power, His might. Talk about how big and how powerful God is! When you make God bigger than your trouble, your trouble becomes very small!
Remember as your walk your seashore of life, He is greater than anything that may come against you! He is the Lord of the universe! He loves you and has great things in store for you -- every day!!!
Psalm 15: 11 -- "Thou will show me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I saw so many beautiful things that our Father has given us daily to enjoy . . . the clouds, the waves, the birds, the dolphins . . . just the fresh air to breath as I walk.
How can anyone ever be depressed when we see so many wonderful things to enjoy daily? Today I read in the Streams in the Wilderness, that "If we see God in everything, He will calm and color everything we see." Perhaps the circumstances causing our sorrows will not be removed and our situation may remain the same, but if Christ is brought into our grief and gloom as our Lord and Master, He will "surround us with songs of deliverance" -- Psalm 32:7.
Isn't that a wonderful thought for the day . . . that no matter what our circumstances we can rejoice? We are all so blessed to know Him as our Lord and Savior . . . the author and finisher of our faith. And He controls all that is about us!
Today as you walk your seashore of life, know He is in charge of your life -- and you can truly trust Him! So look around you and see the good things He has surrounded you with -- and rejoice and give Him praise! I guarantee your thought life will begin to change as you praise Him!!!
1 Samuel 3:18 -- "He is the Lord; let Him do what is good in His eyes."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the many shells reminded me of the harvest that farmers look for at the end of the season.
Farmers undoubtedly grow weary of plowing the same land every year, especially the spots that consistently give them trouble. However, they know that if they want to see a harvest, they must do the work.
You may be experiencing something similar today -- the plowing of territory you have been over before -- repeatedly teaching you the same valuable lessons. You are assured of a good result if you persevere and trust God.
Today, remember you are promised an even more pleasant harvest than the farmer, because God is growing a good character in you, and that is fruit that lasts forever.
Hebrews 12:11 -- "All discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched a baby fish swimming into the ocean, wondering how his life would end. Would he become a big fish, or was he a small one that would feed larger fish in the ocean. How would his beginning end?
Then I thought of Moses, whose life began with a death sentence. Because there were too many Israelite slaves in Egypt, Pharaoh ordered that all their newborn boys be killed.
Moses' mother hid him. And when she could not conceal him any longer, she sent him floating down the Nile in a basket, only for him to be found and raised by Pharaoh's daughter.
Born a slave, poor Moses had great odds against him. Yet God mightily transformed him into the deliverer of Israel.
Today, as you walk your seashore of life, think about your beginnings. Have you faced difficult odds? Moses trusted God, and God did the remarkable through him. Surely, God will do the same for you.
Exodus 2:10 -- "I pulled him out of the water."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, He reminded me that we are free to love and live on His beautiful beach . . . just like the little birds that are always there enjoying the place God has given them.
Shouldn't we be like the birds? Free and happy to be living for our Father on this earth? It seems we become so encumbered daily with the cares of the world, that we forget to live and love all our Heavenly Father has given us this day. We need to open our eyes and see what is all around us. Daily He gives us fresh promises and beauty to enjoy. Daily He wakens us with beautiful sunrises. Daily He wakens us with health to go about being a blessing to others. Daily He feeds us with His Word. What more could we ask?
Today as you walk your seashore of life, purpose in your heart to live more like the little birds . . . trusting your heavenly Father and enjoying the beauty of the world He has placed you in. Purpose to find something today to rejoice in and give thanks to Him. See if you can be as trusting and free as the little birds . . . watch what happens as you thank Him for all He has given you this day!
Philippians 4:6, 7 -- "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my thoughts were on the ability of God to restore the things the enemy steals from us in our life.
I thought of Joseph. His brothers were so jealous of him, they sold him into slavery. Other young men his age were out having a good time, engaging their lives. But Joseph was confined, living in a foreign land, having to work all the time. It was unfair; worse yet, Joseph's heartache and pain were caused by somebody else's poor choices and bad attitude.
But God saw that injustice. Somehow, someway God can make up all those years. That's what He did for Joseph (Genesis 41). Even though Joseph spent thirteen years in slavery and in prison, God made it all up to him, and he came out promoted and increased. He now had a position of honor as the prime minister of all Egypt, second in command only to pharaoh.
Remember as you walk your seashore of life, our God is a God of restoration and He will bring you out and place you in a higher place than before!
Joel 2:25 -- "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the little crabs run from the sandpipers . . . scurrying to be saved by hiding in the sand holes.
When the devil comes against us, we must have on the complete armor of God if we are to resist the devil and do all God wants us to do.
We have to realize that what we do to overcome one crisis may not be the best way to handle the next crisis. The solution to our problem is not in a certain method or procedure, as we have a tendency to be creatures of habit . . . but in the power God gives us to accomplish what He directs us to do in each situation.
When we deal with a crisis, the key is not in our method but in unleashing the power of God through faith, since we serve a God of faith. So today as you walk your seashore of life, wear God's armor, stand your ground against the devil, lift up your shield of faith, and let's see how God will bring the victory every time!
Ephesians 6:13 -- "Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day and having done all, stand!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of 9/11 . . . and the terror it brought to our nation. But we are still standing strong . . . we are more than conquerors!
Some people believe the only way to victory is to somehow avoid having problems. But I have learned that real victory is not in being problem free. True victory for the child of God comes when there is still peace in the soul right in the midst of the raging storm -- when tragedy strikes and one can still say, "It is well with my soul." This can only happen when you are looking at Jesus instead of your circumstances.
The key to having victory is understanding it only comes "through Him who lived us." Today as you walk your seashore of life, allow God to strengthen your inner man. When you are strong inside you can defeat anything that comes against you. You are more than a conqueror, because of who lives in you!
Romans 8:37 -- "Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I couldn't wait to start my prayer time with Him . . . the place we always talk. It is such a wonderful thing -- to walk and pray with Jesus -- daily along the seashore. He is always there waiting for me!
Prayer to many is just a ritual reserved for church services or special occasions. To others, it is something they do when they have a problem or get sick. But prayer is not some ritual or mechanical function. It is something you should live out all day long, just like breathing.
Prayer is conversation with God, and effective prayer includes thanksgiving, praise and petition. And it works for all kinds of situations, from small to great . . . and at any time of day or night . . . any place.
Prayer also demonstrates humility; it is a symbol of your dependence upon God. And the humble get the help.
As you walk your seashore of life today, pray and let God know how much you love Him. Thank him, praise Him and offer your petitions to Him, knowing He hears and answers prayer. Then enjoy the day!
Ephesians 6:18 -- "Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all manner of prayers."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of Jesus walking on the sand. All of a sudden I realized that when Jesus shows up, it becomes Holy ground.
God's presence made the ground holy. Moses removed his sandals when God showed up in the burning bush. He realized he was now standing on holy ground. Just moments before, it was ordinary ground -- now it was holy because God showed up.
You are God's tabernacle. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. He lives in you! Wherever you go, He goes. If you go to the grocery store; if you go play golf; if you go to work -- He goes. Ordinary things and places are not holy in themselves, but when we go and do them God has promised to be with us. And any place God is becomes holy.
Exodus 3:3-5 -- "And Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush is not burned. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the midst of the bush and said, Moses, Moses! And he said, Here am I. God said, Do not come near; put your shoes off your feet, for the place on which you stand is holy ground."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched a sandpiper wrestle with a fish he was trying to eat. The fish kept slipping out of his mouth, but the sandpiper did not give up . . . he finally succeeded.
I thought of how we tend to give up so easily. But, with God, all things are possible. Wrap your faith and heart around this truth this day. Let the seeds God is placing in your life take root so they can grow. Expect God's favor to help you break out of the ruts and rise to new heights. It can happen without a bank loan or having the right education. It can happen in spite of your past and what the critics are telling you.
Remember as you walk your seashore of life, you don't have to be bound by the barriers of the past. Start making room in your thinking for what God has in store for you. Expect to excel in whatever you do. Allow that seed to take root. Get beyond the barriers of the past and expect God to do great things in your life.
Mark 9:23 -- "Everything is possible for him who believes."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the sun was glistening on the water making it look like a million stars dancing on the water!
I thought about Abraham. Why did God tell Abraham to go out and look at the stars after He promised he was going to be the father of many nations? Because God knew Abraham needed to get a picture of it in his mind. Abraham and Sarah were old and childless, and in the natural, it was an impossible situation. But whenever Abraham looked up at the stars, he was reminded of God's promise. He began to see the promise through the eyes of faith.
You cannot give birth to a dream you have not first conceived. Remember as you walk your seashore of life today, you must conceive it on the inside through your eyes of faith before it will come to pass on the outside. Change what you are seeing, and you will change what you are producing.
Genesis 15:5 -- "The the Lord took Abram outside and said to him, 'Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That's how many descendants you will have.'"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of how each precious day is created the same way, but with different blessings each day! But do we miss those blessings by focusing on the wrong things.
We produce what we continually keep in front of us. If you focus on an image of success in your mind, you're going to move toward success, but if you see yourself as barely getting by, your marriage getting worse, your health if going downhill, then most likely your life will gravitate toward those negative situations.
Your vision, what you see, has a tremendous impact in your life. We need to quit allowing our imagination to keep us beaten down. Instead, let's start allowing God to use our imaginations to build us up. Today as you walk your seashore of life, keep your focus on what God has put in your heart and see it come to pass. He will fulfill your dreams -- if you keep it before you and Him!!
Isaiah 51:1 -- "Lisen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the Lord; look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my eyes were fixed and patiently waiting for the sun to rise out of the ocean. It seemed to rise slower than usual today.
I thought of how we are not patient as we "wait for the Lord." Wait for the Lord -- linger a little longer for Him in humility and prayer. We need to learn to look for Him eagerly -- expecting the living God to act and respond to us mightily.
Be strong -- be encouraged and prevail like the soldier assured of triumph. Be firm and secure in your hope. Resolutely prepare yourself for the victory He is bringing you.
Take heart -- wherever your heart fails you, wherever you feel faint or fearful -- allow Him to support you. Exhibit determination and experience His courage as it pulses throughout your inner being -- emboldening your will, mind and soul.
Wait for the Lord – He is coming to you in strength and glory. Today as you walk your seashore of life, expect Him to come!
Psalm 27:14 -- "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the ocean waves were high and pounding the sand furiously! I wanted to feel calm in my spirit, and wanted evidence that all things were calm, but I only saw the fury of the ocean.
Count on it -- there will be days when you will want evidence that God is still actively providing what He has promised you. And it will be the details of how He is working everything out that will concern you most.
Your faith grows in the not knowing and by releasing all the particulars to His care. Do not fear -- He has taken every facet into account and will use every hurdle to display His power.
Rest easy today as you walk your seashore of life. God has considered and taken care of details that you have never thought of. Soon enough, the proof will be before you that your faith has not been in vain.
1 Kings 8:15 -- "Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who with His own hand has fulfilled what He promised."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of circumstances in my life that had seemed really bad this time last year -- but now -- I see the good in all that has happened. It has been used to strengthen my faith and trust in Him . . . and that is the purpose of those things that happen to us.
God changes your attitude toward everything as you walk with Him. And it is an astounding thing, indeed, when God's wisdom finally makes sense to you.
The issues, people and circumstances that brought you pain are transformed into vessels of good. They teach you to look for God's excellent purposes in even the most insignificant occurrences -- knowing that they may hold some instructive glimpse of His character.
Today as you walk your seashore of life, you may not be at the place where you can say that God intended some difficult thing for good. However, be encouraged that the transformation He makes in you is truly worthwhile.
Genesis 50:20 -- "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, watching the new day be created with a beautiful sunrise, I felt the excitement of the new season of life that is approaching! I am covered with His favor and so are you!
Today, if you are living favor-minded, the Bible says, "God's blessings are going to chase you down and overtake you." In other words, you won't be able to outrun the good things of God. Everywhere you go, things are going to change in your favor. Every time you turn around, somebody's going to want to do something good for you. It is all due to the favor of God.
The favor of God comes in the midst of life's challenges. When you are going through tough times, as we all do . . . even if your situation looks impossible, stay in an attitude of faith, and start declaring God's favor instead of being discouraged and developing a sour attitude. Remember, as you walk your seashore of life today, God's favor can turn everything around in your life!
Psalm 23:6 -- "Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the beach seemed a little less busy -- as the last holiday of the summer was being enjoyed by the few remaining visitors.
The solitude of the beach seemed to return once again after the summer rush of visitors. The residents can once again walk quietly along the seashore -- in moments, even hours of peace with the ocean waves lapping gently on the sand. It is like the voice of the Creator can once again be heard speaking softly as you walk -- hearing the sounds of the beach, the tiny sandpipers, the soft calls of the sea gulls . . . what a difference to have the peace returned to the beach.
This reminded me that at times, in order to get quiet before our Heavenly Father, and hear what He is saying, He must remove things from our lives that keep us from hearing. Otherwise, the voices and noise are too loud for us to hear Him speak to us. The Holy Spirit wants to be made welcome since He yearns for fellowship with you in these quiet moments.
As you walk your seashore of life today, make time for Him away from all the busy activities of life. Walk quietly with Him and hear what He is saying to you. He has words of life and wisdom for you . . . hear what the Lord is saying!
Matthew 11:15 -- "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
