As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the tide moving in and out -- with only God understanding how it happens every single day -- twice a day. It is an amazing feat that only God understands.
I thought about times I read the Bible and I really don't understand it all . . . but it is God's Word and He does know what has been written. Sometimes the Bible will not make sense. We easily comprehend the stories, but something about them will not connect. You will feel as if there is some point that is beyond your reach.
It will be as if a voice within you were asking, "Do you understand this?"
This is God's spirit stretching you. He will bring the story or lesson back to your mind repeatedly in order to clarify a truth that you need to know.
Today as you walk your seashore of life, if there is some passage of the Bible that has you stumped, rejoice. It is probably a principle that God's spirit is trying to teach you in a special way. He will show you the way.
Acts 8:30 -- "Do you understand what you are reading?"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, and watched the sunrise, my heart was filled with hope for the future.
The word filled may not exactly portray your condition at the beginning of day, or even the end of the day. Perhaps drained is a better description of how you have been emptied of energy, creativity and even patience.
Yet is is precisely when you have reached the end of your own resources that God begins to fill you with His. He shows you that He sufficiently supplies what you lack and satisfies your deepest yearnings.
It is His desire to fill you with hope -- the knowledge that you will have joy and peace when you trust His help in every circumstance. Today as you walk your seashore of life, be filled with Him and enjoy your day. He will surely satisfy your soul.
Romans 15:13 -- "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched a small crab scurry into its little hole to hide from the walkers on the beach. It was protected by the covering that he dug into the sand.
I thought about our armor that protects us from the enemy. The armor of God consists of the belt of truth, the breastplate of right living, the shoes of good news, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is our Bible.
Obviously, the battles fought with these instruments are not engaged on conventional battlefields. Rather, they are provided for protection in the spiritual arena . . . for your thoughts, values, reputation, purpose and even your trust in God.
God safeguards your spirit completely -- including your heart and mind. As you walk your seashore of life today, remember to cover yourself with trust, right living, salvation, faith and the Bible. Then you will be able to stand firm, no matter what the conflicts may be.
Ephesians 6:11 -- "Take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my spirit rejoiced that our Father has created such a wondrous world for us to enjoy -- and He did it only by speaking the Word.
It made me think of how careless we are with our words sometimes. As a Christian, you have an awesome responsibility with regard to the words you speak. The Bible tells us that words are containers for power -- either creative or destructive. You can tear down or build up the people around you by what you say.
There is an abundance of discouragement coming from the world, but you have the great privilege of bringing encouragement to others by being positive in a negative world.
It can be difficult however, so I encourage you to ask God to help you choose words that will bring positive changes in the lives of others . . . and in your own life too.
Ephesians 4:29 -- "Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk come out of your mouth, but only such as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace to those who hear it."

As I walked the seaside today, I was reminded of the great love our Father has for us. He showers His love on us daily.
I am not sure we understand the love of God, and how we are to be His examples of love in the earth today. Jesus tells us that we are to be like little children when it comes to loving one another. Love is not simply a theory, a feeling, or sweet nothings whispered in the ear -- love is deeds. Many people have the mistaken belief that love is a warm, fuzzy feeling. This is why you think you can't love someone who is unpleasant or even hostile. But the truth is that love is an action, doing what needs to be done in every situation. Developing love isn't a horrible struggle -- it is simply being good to people.
Today as you walk your seashore of life, take a few minutes to examine your life and seek God more about your love walk. How kind are you to people? What are you doing for others? How are you treating people who aren't treating you very nicely? Change your direction if you haven't been expressing God's love to others through joy, peace, patience, goodness and kindness. Don't just talk about love, walk in love.
1 John 3:18 -- "Little children, let us not love in theory or in speech, but in deed and in truth."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I saw children playing on the beach loving one another, laughing and enjoying the love between them. How wonderful it would be if we could all love one another as Jesus has commanded us.
As a Christian, you are to have sincere love -- God's kind of love. God doesn't always love the way people act or the things they do, but He always loves them as people.
God calls you to that same kind of love. You don't have to like everything someone does -- in fact you are told to turn from wickedness -- but it is your Christian responsibility to follow the example of Christ. When you recognize that everyone is God's creation, it is easier to obey His command to love and honor them.
You must have a loving attitude toward people, an attitude that is filled with mercy, kindness, and sincere love. As you walk the seashore of life today, know that this doesn't always come easy, but God will provide the strength you need to show His kind love to others. We can be like the children playing on the beach -- loving one another.
Romans 12: 9-10 -- "Let your love be sincere . . . hate what is evil, but hold fast to that which is good. Love one another with brotherly affection . . . giving precedence and showing honor to one another."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I couldn't help but be overcome with the goodness of His blessings . . . everywhere I looked. He had awakened the day with the glorious sunrise, the birds singing, people laughing, the dew on the grass, the trees praising Him.
As I thought of these blessings, I thought we all need to develop an "attitude of gratitude". This doesn't mean we should live pretending nothing negative exists. It simply means we make it our goal in life to be as positive as possible. A positive approach opens the door for God to work.
We should go to bed at night, pondering everything you have to be thankful for. Then do the same thing every morning. Thank God for everything -- a convenient parking place; the fact you can walk, see or hear; your children, your health. Today as you walk your seashore of life, don't be discouraged with yourself when you fall short, and don't quit and give up. Just keep at it until you have developed new habits. Jesus is there to help you.
Philippians 4:4-6 -- "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice! Let all men know and perceive and recognize your unselfishness. Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in all things, by prayer and supplication and with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of how restful the ocean is for my soul. Anytime I needed restoration, peace and rest, I somehow made my way to His magnificent ocean . . . or rest -- not just for my body, but for my soul.
Just as you can be involved in outward activity, you can be involved in inward activity. God wants you not only to enter into His rest in your body, but in your soul as well.
To me, finding rest, relief, ease, refreshment, recreation, and blessed quiet for my soul means finding freedom from mental activity. It means not having to constantly try to figure out what I should do about everything in my life . . . trying to come up with answers I don't have. I don't have to worry, instead I can remain in a place of quiet rest.
At the end of a tiring day, you can experience this peace and rest by going to Christ and allowing Him to relieve and refresh your soul. As you walk your seashore of life today, let Him be your rest.
Matthew 11:36 -- "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I was reminded of the borders He has drawn for the waves to come upon the ocean -- one inch at a time, until the tide is fully in, and then it works its way back into the ocean. And He commanded the ocean to do this twice a day . . . and the ocean obeys . . . every day.
As we walk our lives out with the plan Jesus designed for us, how simply we could live if we just obeyed the borders He has drawn for our lives . . . how much pain and agony we would save ourselves in this short life on earth, if we would only obey and stay in the boundaries He has drawn out each day, each moment of our lives.
We must remember that He knows our hearts and knows what plans He has for us. But we continually test Him to see if we can get by with this or that, and it never fails to come back to haunt us. Why not live our lives according to His plan. Wouldn't that be a simpler way to live?
Today as you walk your seashore of life, remember the ocean obeys the boundaries of God, so why not make this the habit of your life as well.
John 14:21 -- "Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the waves seemed angry -- lashing against the beach, as the storm quickly approached the seaside.
I thought about our own storms that come up quickly in life. How does one avoid being pitched by storm-driven waves? Surely a deep understanding of the ocean and a sturdy, seaworthy vessel are the best tools to combat the onslaught.
The same is true for the person who desires to sail steady on in faith.
You know what it is to have the waves of what-ifs battering your trust in God's promises. Yet you also know that your storms of doubt are merely bluster and that you can learn to steer clear of them.
God is the strong vessel of your confidence. He carries you safely to your destination.
Today as you walk your seashore of life, have faith. Enjoy the calm waters of believing in Him completely.
Psalm 107:29-30 -- "He stilled the storm to a murmur, and the waves of the sea were hushed. They rejoiced when the waves grew quiet. Then He guided them to the harbor they longed for."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my thoughts reflected back to the days of being in corporate America, where every day was a challenge to deliver what had been promised -- deadlines, quotas, performance reviews . . . always fighting to meet expectations of every one else.
Can you really deliver all that you've agreed to? This question will vex you whenever you make promises that are impossible to keep.
When you overestimate yourself to win the favor of others, you can become trapped and overextended to the point of exhaustion.
You have fallen into a snare, but you hold the key that unlocks it. All you must do is humbly admit to misjudging your abilities. Do not make excuses. Simply acknowledge that the task is more than you can handle.
The wonder of modesty is that others will relate to your vulnerability. Think of these things as you walk your seashore of life today. When you show your humility and vulnerability, others will think more highly of you because you are honest about yourself -- and your limitations. Leave the deadlines to God and He will meet you there.
Proverbs 6:2-3 -- "If you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth....go and humble yourself."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I realized that I have access to the greatest source of knowledge in the world . . . my heavenly Father. It is always so easy to talk with Him about everything . . . no matter what the need may be.
If you had a problem in which you had limited knowledge, be it medical, legal, relational, mechanical, or other -- you would probably find an expert to help you with it.
Depending on what that professional charged, you most likely would spend the meeting, listening, making the most of their costly time.
Today as you walk on your seashore of life, there are important matters that you will take to God. Though you absolutely should express your feelings, consider this: God is an expert when it comes to everything concerning your life.
If you do all the talking, you will miss the life giving counsel that you need. Therefore, when you pray tonight, make the most of your time with God by listening.
Ecclesiastes 5:1 -- "Guard your steps as you go to the house of God, and draw near to listen."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a young lady passed me that seemed very sad . . . almost as though she was lost. I stopped to say "Hello", and she thanked me for just noticing her and taking the time to talk. She explained that she had just lost her mother and was very saddened and lost without her. I continued on my walk, praying for the young lady as I walked.
It can be very lonely when you have private issues that you cannot share with others. Whether they are difficult to explain or your loved ones just wouldn't understand, keeping silent can make you feel isolated and discouraged.
Yet there is one who already knows what you are experiencing, and His understanding and wisdom are more than sufficient. You can be honest with God because nothing is hidden from Him.
Therefore, whatever you are facing, talk it out with God today, as you walk your seashore of life. Just plainly tell Him how you feel. He already knows anyway. Then listen. You will find that having someone who loves you so much and whom you can talk to is a great reward.
Matthew 6:6 -- "When you pray, go into your private room . . . and your Father who sees in secret will reward you."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the walk was abruptly ended due to a storm that arose without warning.
I thought about the disciples in the boat with Jesus when they were caught in an angry tempest of such violent intensity that even the seasoned fishermen were afraid for their lives. So they woke Jesus, who was somehow still sleeping, and implored His help.
He rose, and rebuked the furious squall. Instantly, all grew calm.
Perhaps something in your day was like that battering storm and even now your heart is agitated, like a ship on the billowing sea. God can calm you with His gentle words and speak peace into your situation if you will allow Him.
So today as you walk your seashore of life, call out to Him -- pray and read the Bible. God will pacify your raging storm and bring tranquility to your heart. Rest in Him today -- even in the storm.
Matthew 8:26 -- "He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the gentle waves lapping against the sand whispers the sweet nudging of the Holy Spirit, drawing me ever close to Him.
As you sit down with your Bible to do your devotions, what is it that you are seeking? Do you desire to return to God? Do you long for the peace that can only come from Him? Do you need a fresh start?
God has initiated that longing within you and has drawn you to Himself so that you can know His peace. He wants to give you a fresh start and love you lavishly. He wants to show you that all things can be new if you will allow Him into your life.
Remember as you walk your seashore of life today, God's mercy and peace are available to you always. Will you open your heart to Him?
Hosea 14:4 -- "I will heal their waywardness. I will love them lavishly. My anger is played out. I will make a fresh start with Israel."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of all I wanted to accomplish for Him while I am on this earth. As I thought big thoughts, I wondered if I could ever even begin to do all that is in my heart.
Then I thought of Gideon. When the angel of the Lord appeared to tell Gideon how God wanted him to save the people of Israel from the Midianites, the first words spoken were, "The Lord is with you, you mighty man of courage" (Judges 6:13) Gideon showed his true colors when he replied, "but Lord, how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family" (v 15).
Sound familiar? So often, we sense God telling us that He has something big for us to do. But because of a poor self-image, we say, "God, I can't do that. You've got to find somebody more qualified. I don't have what it takes." Today as you walk your seashore of life, you may feel unqualified, insecure, weak, fearful and insignificant, but God sees you as a victor!
Judges 6:12 -- "The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I found the most unusual shell with unique colors and curves that had truly taken a long time to create.
I thought about our lives, and how we are brought into the image of our Father. The scripture says, "we are God's workmanship" (Ephesians 2:10), which implies that you are a "work in progress." Throughout our lives, God is continually shaping us into the people He wants us to be. The key to future success is to not be discouraged about your past or present while you are in the process of being "completed."
God loves you unconditionally. You may not understand everything you are going through right now. But hold your head high, knowing that God is in control and He has a great plan and purpose for your life. Your dreams may not have turned out exactly as you'd hoped, but the Bible says that God's ways are better and higher than our ways. As you walk your seashore of life today, know you can trust Him to complete the process and good work He has begun in you.
2 Corinthians 3:18 -- "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I found a seashell that was covered with debris -- but once I washed it off, it was beautiful. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that with God we always have value, even though we may seem to be tarnished and worn.
Imagine that I am handing you a new, crisp one-hundred-dollar bill. Would you want it? Probably so! If I crumpled it, you'd still want it. And if I threw it on the ground and stomped on it until the picture on the bill was barely perceptible, you'd still want it, because you know that a beat-up hundred-dollar bill is still worth a hundred dollars.
That's the way God sees each of us. We all go through challenges and struggles. Sometimes we feel like that crumpled and soiled hundred-dollar bill. But, in fact, we will never, ever lose our value, which has been placed in us by the Creator of the universe. Remember as you walk your seashore of life today, nobody can ever take away your value.
Romans 8:39 -- "No power in the sky above or in the earth below - indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I was so thankful for a new beginnings every day with Him. He always creates a new day. every day for me to enjoy the walks on the beach.
God is a God of second chances -- and third, and fourth, and even more chances. He loves you. God's approval is not based on your achievements. It is based solely on the fact that you are His child and He sees the best in you. There's nothing you can do, and there's nothing anybody else can do, that will ever change your value in God.
But you have to do your part. Quit overanalyzing your faults; stop taking an inventory of everything wrong with you. If you make mistakes, ask forgiveness and then move on. Don't become overly concerned if you are not changing as quickly as you would like.
As you walk on your seashore of life today, stay focused on what you can become, and God will get you to where you need.
Ephesians 2:8 -- "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."

As I walked the seaside today with Jesus, watching the ocean and it's grander, I wonder how anyone could ever doubt.
Your challenge today is to put aside your doubts. Though circumstances may be disheartening, you must look beyond them to the absolute faithfulness of your God.
Friend, no matter how long you have believed in God you will have moments of weakness. You will be tempted to believe that it is impossible to surmount what's ahead.
Your best remedy is to focus on the One who is absolutely true -- consistently faithful. God perfectly guides and equips you for the journey -- keeping you from swerving away from your purpose.
Today cling to Him and forget your fears, for the One who promised you would never let you down.
Hebrews 10:23 -- "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my heart is full of love for my heavenly Father. I thank Him for giving us emotions to experience the joys of life.
Emotions can become so overwhelming that they drown out all reason. The adrenaline rushes and suddenly unfortunate words flow forcefully.
Have you been there? Have you experienced the flood of remorse -- wishing you could retract your words because of how disrespectful they are? Perhaps you even imagined that your tirade damaged your relationship with God.
Fear not -- God is unmoved. He is still with you and steadfastly accepts you. You see, God knows where your hurt comes from, and His main goal is to heal you. Remember today as you walk your seashore of life, God is strong enough to bear what you say. Approach Him with confidence today.
Psalm 73:21-23 -- "When I became embittered and my innermost being was wounded, I was a fool and didn't understand . . . Yet I am always with you."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I am so grateful to know that I am a "friend" of God. Isn't that an amazing privilege we have as children of God?
The book of Luke is dedicated to "Theophilas" -- which, when translated to English, means "friend of God." Likewise, the whole Bible is written so that those who love God will know the hope He has provided.
Because you have a relationship with Him, you know for certain that all He has taught you is absolutely factual and that you will see it proven true. You are counted among very distinguished friends of God -- such as Abraham and Moses -- who also saw that His promises were completely reliable.
Today as you walk your seashore of life, realize that just as you want the best for your loved ones, so does God. He is truly a friend whose word you can trust.
Luke 1:4 -- "You can know beyond the shadow of a doubt the reliability of what you were taught."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I took special care to notice the faces of people on the beach -- some happy faces, some lonely, some sad . . . and wondered what their needs might be. I was reminded that we are here to serve others, just as Jesus did when He walked on the earth.
When you center your life around yourself, not only do you miss out on God's best, but you rob other people of the joy and blessings that God wants to give them through you. It's so easy to criticize and condemn, to point out everyone's flaws and failures. But God wants us to build people up, to be a blessing, speaking words of faith and victory into their lives.
It doesn't cost anything or take a lot of time to give somebody a compliment or a smile. What does it cost to tell your friend how much you appreciate them. How long does it take to tell your employee, "You are doing a fine job. I appreciate your hard work"?
As you walk your seashore of life today, take time to notice those around you and encourage them -- just as Jesus encourages us each day. Be His example in the earth.
Hebrews 3:13 -- "But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness."
Blessings and peace,

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched a mother sandpiper give food to her tiny little bird. It made me think of how Jesus taught us "it is better to give than to receive."
Many people nowadays are blatantly and unashamedly living for themselves. Society teaches us to look out for number one. "What's in it for me?" We readily acknowledge this as the "me" generation, and that same narcissism sometimes spills over into our relationship with God, our families, and one another. Ironically, this selfish attitude condemns us to living shallow, unrewarding lives. No matter how much we acquire for ourselves, we are never satisfied.
God is a giver, and if you want to experience a new level of God's joy, if you want Him to pour out His blessing and favor in your life, then you must learn to be a giver and not a taker.
As you walk your seashore of life today, wherever you are, find someone you can be a blessing to just as your Father has taught you. Remember, you are blessed to be a blessing.
Acts 20:35 -- "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he said, 'It is more blesed to give than to receive.'"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I marveled at the unique gift of each creature that our Heavenly Father has placed with purpose in this vast mass of water.
I then thought of how each of us, God's children, are gifted to complete a destiny on this earth. Though the Israelites had not yet conquered the Promised Land, God was going to teach them how to build a holy place for Him -- a tabernacle they could carry with them as they traveled.
How could they make such a sacred place after four hundred years of slavery? They did not have the proper training or experience. It was truly a new thing God was doing in their time.
God filled Bezalel and Oholiab with the knowledge, creativity, and talents necessary for the task. And as He did it for them, truly He will do it for you today.
Today as you walk your seashore of life, you may know of something wonderful God is doing at your church or in your community or even in your workplace and you want to join in. Be assured that God will give you what you need to serve. Join in His activity and you will certainly have just the right gifts for the task He assigns you to accomplish.
Exodus 36:1 -- "The Lord has given to Bezalel, Oholiab, and others the skills needed for building a place of worship."
Blessings and peace,

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I walked with confidence that my Father watches over me and meets every need for the day -- life, air to breath, joy, peace, food, friends, home to live in . . . in a beautiful place. Just as He promised to meet all my needs, He has promised to take care of each of us.
The question is not whether God will do as He promised -- He absolutely will. Rather, it is whether you will believe him and persevere until you reach the goal.
You are on the path to the promise. Though the landscape looks nothing like your destination, God is expertly navigating your course. Steep mountains may block your way, and though you cannot go over or around, He leads you through them.
If you follow God faithfully, you will find that the promise far surpasses your greatest hopes.
Today as you walk your seashore of life, patiently persevere to do God's will because the reward is truly astounding.
Hebrews 10:36 -- "Patient endurance is what you need now, so you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that He has promised."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a thunder storm came up quickly and unexpectedly to send everyone scurrying off the beach. The storm suddenly turned the beach into a very unpleasant place to be when the lightning started to streak the sky.
Were there events today that shook your faith? Were there incidents that made it seem like God was not working in your situations? These will necessarily arise because God is building your faith.
God is allowing that which is seen as temporary to seemingly contradict what you know to be His purposes for you. Why? Because your faith is built by what is unseen. All evidence may point to defeat, but with God -- whose person and work are invisible -- is victory.
When circumstances shake your faith, never forget God's unseen workings. Today as you walk your seashore of life, focus on God; believe in Him. What you see is temporary, and your triumph is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18 -- "We do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the children busy playing in the sand, building sandcastles and forts to hold the water. They were having such fun. My mind wondered if we show these wonderful gifts from God how much we love them daily.
Have you given thanks for your loved ones today? Or have your thoughts been turned to nitpicky grievances and disagreements? Are you dwelling more on what they have done wrong than what they've done to show you love?
Sometimes it is difficult to redirect your thoughts during a conflict. However, these are the people God has given you to love, and through whom He is perfecting your ability to love Him.
Today as you walk your seashore of life, turn your thoughts toward thankfulness this evening by reminiscing over all the good times you have had together. You will find that the great and joyful difference it makes in your relationship will be well worth it.
Philippians 1:3-4 -- "I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you, always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I felt His love so strongly displayed in His wonderous ocean and the tiny sea shells on the sand, each one such unique creations. What joy I felt as I inspected the beauty of each one.
Absolutely everything that God does for you is prompted by His love. Though some imagine that God does things out of anger or a desire to control, Scripture is clear that God is motivated by His love for you.
With that in mind, it is clear what should inspire your interaction with God. Though respect is always appropriate, love is the primary impetus for how you respond to Him.
Fear, obligation and selfish ambition should never be the basis of your relationship with God. As you walk your seashore of life today, serve Him gladly out of love because of the love He has shown to you. It is the most wonderful and powerfully motivating force you will ever need.
2 Corinthians 5:14 -- "Christ's love compels us."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my heart was so content to just be there with Him, walking and talking to the Lord, and enjoying the beauty of His ocean.
Stability is maturity. To grow up in God is to come to the place where you can be content no matter what your situation or circumstances may be because you are rooted and grounded, not in things, but in the Lord.
Paul was emotionally and spiritually mature because he knew whatever state he was in would pass. He had learned the secret of facing every situation of life, whether good or bad.
God wants to bless you and use you as a vessel through which His Holy Spirit can work. But in order for that to happen you must learn how to handle both the good times and the bad. That's why it is so important to remember that whatever comes your way, "This too shall pass."
As you walk your seashore of life today, remember the good times and the bad never last forever, but through Christ we can handle either with joy and stability.
Philippians 4:11 -- "I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am."
Blessings and peace,
