As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I realize how easy it is to enjoy the world around us when we walk with the attitude of Jesus.

And it is amazing that God changes your attitude toward everything as you walk with Him. And it is an astounding thing, indeed, when God's wisdom finally makes sense to you.

The issues, people, and circumstances that brought you pain are transformed into vessels of good. They teach you to look for God's excellent purposes in even the most insignificant occurrences -- knowing that they may hold some instructive glimpse of His character.

Today, as you walk the seashore of life with Jesus, you may not be at the place where you can say that God intended some difficult thing for good. However, be encouraged that the transformation He makes in you is truly worthwhile.

Genesis 50:20 -- "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, I think of how God has a specific plan for each of us, just as He does for the creatures in His ocean. It is so good to see His plan in effect in my life on this day, after going through a challenging 2008.

God's plans are exceedingly strategic and effective. He not only readies good things to fill your life with joy, but He also prepares you with the ability to truly appreciate them.

There is never regret when God blesses you. There is no looking back and thinking, "If only I had more knowledge, maturity or skill." Rather, your exclamation will be about how amazing that God coordinated all factors to culminate in a joyful way.

Be patient this evening. God is strategically ordering good things to bring you great happiness, even if you can't see it at this moment in your life.

As you walk the seashore of life today, just know you will be thrilled when you finally possess the merciful and gracious blessings He has planned for you.

Isaiah 30:18 -- "Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, my heart feels a peace that transcends human understanding . . . a peace that floods my soul as I feel the soft sand beneath my feet.

God's peace is an astounding calmness of soul that comes even though all around is confusion. There is no earthly explanation for it. It is simply the tranquility that results from constant communion with God -- the assurance that He will thoroughly tame the chaos and bring order to it.

This peace is beyond your comprehension and it is better than understanding why something is happening to you. You know that if God has allowed these troubles, He will help you through them.

Today as you walk your seashore of life, feel peace in the midst of the commotion. The fact that you are not worrying is evidence that God is doing a transcending work.

Philippians 4:6-7 -- "With thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, the mist hangs heavily over the ocean, causing vision to be slightly hindered . . . unlike days with the sun shining brightly.

Nothing brings darkness to the heart like a lack of vision for the future. Looking forward to tomorrow and seeing nothing certain can be very unsettling.

Yet you follow Jesus, who not only guides your path but is also the light of the path. He knows what is coming and how to prepare you for it . . . much better than we can prepare ourselves. He also promises to be your unwavering hope and joy in it.

Although you have no knowledge of what is ahead, you have faith in the One who goes before you and are confident that He will guide you well. He is your light for your path to this life.

As you walk your seashore of life today, do not fear what tomorrow brings. Jesus will be your light. And no darkness will ever separate you from Him.

John 8:12 -- "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, it is amazing to feel the body move and be co-ordinated as the creator has designed it. I am reminded that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

The mind is so much like the body -- what you put in it makes a difference in how it works. If you eat a lot of junk food, your health deteriorates. Similarly, if you put negative things into your mind, it acts like poison, killing your ability to have faith or live a life that is pleasing to God.

Paul's admonishment to the Philippians is for you as well. We are to fill our mind with things that are true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, and gracious. Such things affect your outlook and empower you to be the best that you can be.

Today as you walk your seashore of life, feed your mind with thoughts of God and His Word. His nourishment will never leave you feeling empty and hungry.

Philippians 4:8 -- "You'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, I see planes flying over the water. Planes usually take us to the desired destination the quickest of any other means of travel.

Generally, the most expeditious way to get from one point to another is a straight line -- therefore we fly. Yet when you look on a map, highways meander around landmarks and scenery that mapmakers do their best to indicate with symbols and colors. Unfortunately, the two-dimensional nature of the map is limited in representing why the roads are built as they are.

Similarly, because of your viewpoint, your life will take turns that make no sense to you at some point in life. However, if you stay close to God and do as He says, you know that you are on the right road.

Remember this as you walk your seashore of life today, that no matter the twists and turns, you are on the straighest route to fulfilling your purpose when you walk with Him.

Psalm 27:11 -- "Teach me your way, O Lord; lead me in a straight path."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, I feel the love of the good shepherd wrapped around me like a soft blanket . . . comforting and peaceful.

In life, there are thousands of undistinguishable moments -- of grazing and sleeping, of enduring the storms and natural elements, and of toilsome employments.

Yet there are also the rare, life-changing moments -- of new pastures and intruders, of being lost and found, and of being born and dying.

The shepherd cares for his flock in all of the moments. He knows that the drudgery of the many moments can be as difficult as the ones that turn your world completely upside down.

As you walk your seashore of life today, no matter what moment you are experiencing this evening, allow God to hold you tenderly in his arms. Thank him that the wonderful comfort of his love is available to you now.

Isaiah 40:11 -- "He tends his flock like a shepherd; He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, I realize that I never walk this seashore without the presence of Him with me. It is a wonderful realization to daily be in His presence.

Moses wanted to know God -- to be in His presence and experience Him personally. In fact, God was more important to Him than conquering the Promised Land.

God brought Moses into a more profound relationship by giving him a deeper revelation of His goodness. When Moses learned His name, he knew that God had honored Him with an amazingly intimate understanding of His character.

Do you ache to know God this evening? You can know Him more profoundly because He offers you a greater revelation of His kindness and nature through every situation.

As you walk your seashore of life, just ask Him to reveal Himself to you. It is a request He is always glad to grant.

Exodus 33:19 -- "I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, it is amusing to watch the sand pipers play along the edge of the water trying to stay ahead of the waves.

It brought me to a time in my own life when I tried to stay ahead of the waves of a busy schedule. It was when I was in the corporate world, with a schedule so packed that only a superbeing could stay ahead of. No time to think, to rest, to meditate on what my Father was saying to me, only time to labor.

Today I see so many of God's children on treadmills of life, scurrying to stay ahead of the waves, and never coming to a place of rest. We spend our lives and the return is very empty.

This is not God's plan for His precious children. He says to come unto Him and He will give you rest. Surely He knew we would need to hear those words.

Today as you walk your seashore of life, re-examine your own schedule. Are you leaving out time for Him? Are you scurrying about, accomplishing tasks that in the end will be meaningless? Speak to your Heavenly Father, and let Him order your steps daily. He will make your time more meaningful, and more productive in this thing called life.

Matthew 11:28 -- "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, I see the increasing signs of the new season that is coming . . . a new season of hope and anticipation of what is ahead! Spring is in the air!

With each winter, comes a spring -- which seems to lighten our hearts in an amazing way. Undoubtedly, when we go through the winter months, we count the days until spring arrives. We pray for days of darkness and despair to pass. We want to see life come back into our days . . . light and hope that only a new season can bring.

Each of us experience the winter months -- the months of darkness and pain in our lives -- at different times. That is the time we long for someone to breath fresh air into our path . . . to give us hope. We long for the day that Jesus takes us into a new season that will once again give us a spring in our step, a laugh in our heart, and love we can share with others.

Today as you walk your seashore of life, let Him use you to be that breath of new life for those that cross your path. It all begins with friendly eyes, a kind word, a testimony of how your life has been restored. This may be all that person needs to go from darkness to a new season of life and hope! Be the one that carries the season of spring to others.

Isaiah 61:1 -- "He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, my heart is overjoyed to be free and joyful -- to breath and experience the freedom of life.

My thoughts go to Paul, even though he was under great persecution, he was free in his spirit because he knew the Lord God. Due to the great persecution of believers in Rome by Emperor Nero, the apostle Paul was brought to trial. And he stood alone at his first hearing because it was too dangerous for his most trusted friends to appear with him.

Yet God never left him -- and His presence gave Paul hope that spring was coming!

You will encounter situations that you must face alone as well. Though loved ones will want to assist you, they will not be able to. However, you have one sure helper that stands with you through all challenges live may bring to you.

As you walk your seashore of life today, know the Lord is with you. Rest easy tonight knowing that His strength is more than sufficient to get you through any situation -- to a place where you can be free and joyful once again -- to enjoy life as He intended.

2 Timothy 4:16-17 -- "At my first defense, no one came to my assistance . . . but the Lord stood with me and strengthened me."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, I see the incredible beauty He has given us to enjoy every day . . . freely given. He has given us all things to enjoy in our lives.

Let me ask you a question. Why do you give? Have you ever considered that your charity could be a quiet act of worship? Consider being so moved by God's goodness that you give freely to another -- yet give in secret, giving God the glory.

You yield what is costly to show that He is important to you. Certainly that pleases God. Imagine what it does to the people who receive your generous gifts. Not knowing the identity of their benefactor affects them. They are beholden to none -- but are grateful to everyone. And they are especially thankful toward God.

Today as you walk your seashore of life, turn your charity into an act of worship and love God by freely giving to others.

Matthew 6:3-4 -- "When you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, I watch the tiny sand pipers run along the beach, trusting Him daily for their provision. Amazing, isn't it? And then I am reminded that we are "faith creatures", made to "trust Him" as we go through this life.

The word faith means that you are "persuaded of a truth." What God wants is for you to be convinced that He is real and willing to confirm His presence daily to you. He is faithful to do as He promises . . . it is up to us to "believe."

Without that conviction, it is not possible to please Him. Think about it -- how could you serve someone who you are not really sure exists? And why would you bother seeking Him if you were not convinced that you would eventually find His love?

Today as you walk your seashore of life, just know for sure that God does exist and that He is glad to reward you as you get to know Him. Believe Him, trust Him. You will love what you find and it will please Him greatly. After all, you are a "faith creature".

Hebrews 11:6 -- "Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him."

As I walk the seaside with Jesus today, my thoughts reflect on the condition of our world. It seems at times that only those who are dishonest are the ones who get ahead, get all the acclaim and awards . . . while others who strive to always do right and follow God, yet seem to be behind.

I am then reminded of who is keeping records . . . your Heavenly Father. Therefore, every one of your honest dealings -- every way you honor God -- is recorded. Though others may not realize it, God does. And He assures you that you will be rewarded for your faithfulness.

God has a better tribute for your great work. This should be the motivation any of us need to keep the faith and continue to complete the good work in the earth.

As you walk the seashore of life today, take comfort in knowing that you will soon receive a more satisfying accolade than any you could receive from another person.

Malachi 3:16 -- "In His presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and loved to think about Him."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched the pelicans flying in such order, being ever mindful of their teammates staying in formation and changing the leader as needed. I wondered who taught them to do such a marvelous act -- where did they learn this? Who taught them when they were young?

I then thought of how each of us grow up -- who are our role models -- who do we follow?

Josiah, like many kings in the Old Testament, was not raised to honor God. His father and grandfather were evil monarchs who ruled selfishly and destructively.

However, Josiah was not confined to repeating their mistakes. He found a worthwhile example in his ancestor King David, and he sought to imitate David's superior character.

Perhaps you have also lacked good examples as you have grown in your relationship with God. This does not have to be an excuse to grow up and become a negative, bitter person. It becomes your choice to seek others to follow, just as Josiah did.

As you walk the seashore of life today, take heart -- God has given you numerous models throughout history and in the church. Seek out God-honoring people as mentors and imitate their behavior. Follow good, and not evil and see God use you to bless others.

2 Kings 22:2 -- "Josiah did what was pleasing to the Lord; he followed the example of his ancestor King David."

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, I am reminded of how refreshing it is to talk with Him daily during this time. My heart can be full of concerns, but once Jesus and I have shared the weights on my heart, the whole day takes on a new outlook!

Nothing eases your heavy burdens like a friend who cheers you on and encourages you to trust in God. It is so good to be reminded that your Heavenly Father loves you unconditionally and steadfastly helps you with whatever your problem may be.

Without that support, your times of waiting can seem lonely and interminable, tempting you to sink deep into doubt or turn to something other than God for comfort.

Yet when someone who has been where you are now, reinforces your faith with kind, trustworthy words, it can prevent you from losing heart and sinking further.

Today, as you walk your seashore of life with Jesus, seek others who offer you positive, sustaining words of faith. And you in turn can encourage others as well. Be that friend that is uplifting and a blessing to those around you . . . just as He is to us.

Hebrews 3:13 -- "Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness."

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, the continuous boundaries of the ocean stay in place, day in and day out, just as He has promised . . . not to go beyond the limits He has set, yet surely the tide comes in and goes out daily.

What thought came to your mind when you read "promises God has made"? What is it that He has promised you personally?

You may be encouraged by the assurance that God will never leave you or forsake you. Or perhaps you are gladdened by the pledge that when God is your delight, He will give you the desires of your heart. Yet sometimes the promise is more personal . . . as when God promised Abraham a child.

As you walk your seashore of life today, remember this -- whatever the promise is, God is sure to fulfill that particular promise. He will never forget or break His word. He will see it done in your life. Yes, He will . . . He keeps His promises.

2 Corinthians 1:20 -- "No matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ."

As I walked the seashore with Jesus today, I thought of how each day with Him brings me closer to the person He desires for me to be. It made me even more aware of the importance of being in a place to experience His presence daily. But it is up to me to make the time for Him.

Spending time with God will always change you for the better. When you experience His presence, it builds lasting qualities in you like nothing else can. You learn to love the One with whom you will spend eternity and discover how to watch for Him.

Surely, there are an abundance of earthly blessings for you -- good things that God gives you to encourage your heart. At the same time, He is awakening you to eternal matters daily. He adds to you everlasting traits that never fail you as long as you walk with Him.

Remember this as you walk your seashore with Jesus -- when you experience God's presence, you not only receive blessings with value for you today, but those blessings will have worth forevermore . . . and that is truly worth investing the time with Him.

Psalm 31:19 -- "What a stack of blessing you have piled up for those who worship You, ready and waiting for all who run to You."

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, the sun is hidden by the clouds and it seems a little gray at these moments.

These same moments I compare to our lives, when we feel as if our life lacks the luster it should have. We can compare it to times when we are overcome by the commonness of our life . . . these are times we must remember where our true brightness comes from. It is from Jesus, shining through us, to bring light to those around us.

If you are doing what you know is right, then you are undoubtedly illuminated in a manner too precious for words. Again -- remind yourself it is because Jesus is shining through you that draws others to you.

You will not know how brightly you reflect Him, because that could hinder the humble, gentle spirit He is creating in you. But it will be very evident in this world that is becoming darker with the sin in the earth.

As you walk your seashore of life today, remember this -- when you are serving God, walking in His love, His peace, His glory radiates from you, and surely that is a light that is never overcome by darkness. Surely you will become the sunshine in the lives of those around you.

Isaiah 49:3 -- "The Lord said to me, 'You're my dear servant, Israel, through whom I'll shine.'"

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, I watch the changes in the beach as spring arrives. There is much more activity, many more people and the solitude of the beach seems to almost evaporate amidst the busyness taking place.

I want to always seek that quiet place -- where my heart is focused on Him, no matter how busy my life becomes. It changes everything, just being in His presence, walking with Him, silently along the ocean -- recognizing He is the reason for our being here on this earth.

He should be our reason for getting out of bed every day, no matter what may be taking place in our lives . . . and we forget that in our busyness. He created us for fellowship with Him and when we do not give that back to Him, He misses us.

It is like being in love -- you long for the presence of that person daily and will do almost anything just to hear their voice, or share a moment. Jesus is the same. He is in love with His children. He longs to have us sit with Him and share our hearts with Him. He waits for us daily.

As you walk your seashore of life today, do as He says and seek Him early in the morning . . . don't let your day pass without sharing time with Jesus. He loves you and is only a whisper away.

Psalm 139:9-10 -- "If I flew away beyond the east or lived in the farthest place in the west, you would be there to lead me, you would be there to help me."

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, I am reminded of how many times I thought I could only be productive when I had no problems. Obviously this is not the truth.

In the Old Testament, King Solomon waited until there were no wars or diasters To build the temple of God. This was so he could direct all of his attention and resources to it and construct the exceptional building God deserved.

Today, God has a new temple in which to work -- you and me. He gives you times of rest and peace in order to build your relationship with Him through prayer, worship, Bible study and service.

As you walk your seashore of life, use peaceful times to build yourself up in the love and knowledge of God. Let Him make you into a strong temple so that when challenges come, you will be in excellent spiritual shape to face them.

1 Kings 5:4-5 -- "God has given me rest on every side. And so I intend to build a house for the name of the Lord."

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, life seems peaceful and problem free. It is an amazing place to be . . . to be able to experience His peace and His presence on this day.

You cannot avoid problems in life, but they can be useful to you in your journey on this earth. You must learn to trust God through each problem. In fact, there is no more profound way to learn spiritual truth than through your troubles.

Your trials train you to rely upon God to overcome your hurdles. During this you will usually learn what is really important. The problems can also confirm that He satisfies and nourishes your soul like nothing else can.

As your instructor, God guides you past many of the pitfalls that lead to or worsen your problems. He never fails to lead you and direct you the right way. He leads you to His magnificent and enlightening truth.

As you walk your seashore of life today, know that your Heavenly Father can truly make the most of your situation -- so fully trust Him as your teacher.

Isaiah 30:20 -- "Though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet . . . your eyes shall see your Teacher."

Blessings and Peace,

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, I want to jump and run with praise in my heart for all the wonderful things He has done in my life. I am reminded of the praise He waits for daily from His children. We are His temple, walking on the earth today, carrying His presence wherever we go.

In the Bible, when the temple was completed, all the Israelites went to see it and praise God. They played their instruments, sang, and rejoiced. Then something amazing happened -- God's glory appeared and filled the temple. It was so overwhelming that even the priests stopped what they were doing.

Sometimes the presence of God will be so overpowering that it will stop you in your tracks. At those times, it is okay if you don't know what to do or say -- because being in God's presence is all that really matters.

As you walk your seashore of life today, never fear taking time to experience your Heavenly Father. Just enjoy having Him near . . . it will change your life.

2 Chronicles 5:14 -- "The priests could not continue their work because the glorious presence of the Lord filled the temple of God."

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, I feel totally free to give love to others, just as He has taught us to do. Most of the world today is not free to share His love, but are bound with concerns and worries in the world's system. What have you invested in today, that is not giving 100% return?

If you have to be in debt, it is good to owe "love" of which you have an endless supply. You have an abundant source of love, through God, who cares for you unconditionally and without limitation. And the more you spend His love, the more it multiplies.

As you reflect on this day, consider this: Have you been stingy in expressing and giving your love? Is there someone who needs your kindness, but busyness has prevented you from showing that you care? You have not taken time to invest in the lives of those around you who need it most. It is time to take an assessment of your life investments.

Today, as you walk on your seashore of life, draw from God's bank of love and make an investment into that person's life. I am certain, you will be as richly blessed in the giving, as your friend is in the receiving. You will be the richer one because of the gift of love freely given, just like your Heavenly Father.

Romans 13: 8 -- "Let no debt remain outstanding except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law."

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, it is so evident to see that each of God's creatures on the beach have a very distinct purpose, one that only our Father could create.

I then thought of Joshua, one of my favorite Bible characters. Joshua spent years leading the people of Israel into the Promised Land, being the forerunner, leading them and teaching them, possessing the land wherever they went. Then they were at the end of the journey, ready to cultivate the land they had conquered.

You may imagine that Joshua felt that his usefulness had come to an end. Have you been there? Yet through the journey, Joshua discovered that he had been created to love and obey God, wherever he was in the journey. And he was committed to living out that purpose for the rest of his life, whatever was required by God.

If you ever feel like you lack purpose, remember that you, too, were created to have a relationship with God. Remember, as you walk your seashore of life with the creator, that He made you in order to love you -- and that is an excellent purpose!

Joshua 22:5 -- "Love the Lord your God, walk in all His ways, keep His commands, remain faithful to Him and serve Him with all your heart and all your soul."

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, my thoughts are reflective of dreams and desires that have been in the recesses of my heart for some time.

It drives me to have a conversation with my Father regarding these dreams. He shows me that it is His great promise to me -- the dream I have in my heart that He confirms so many times through prayer, a word spoken through another person, or even a verse I read in the Bible. As the days come to an end each day, I am reminded of the many suns that have set without seeing the promise or dream fulfilled.

My question is, "Why would God allow this lengthy delay?" And I realize it is because He is growing me through it. As I wait for the dream, God reveals Himself to me and builds His holiness, patience, hope and confidence in who I am in Christ.

Today as you walk your seashore of life with Him, rejoice that you are not only gaining the promise you have in your heart, but you are also gaining your heavenly Father's nature as well. In the end, you may even find that your true longing was for God all along. And that will be enough.

2 Corinthians 7:1 -- "All these promises are made to us, my dear friends. So then, let us purify ourselves from everything that makes body or soul unclean, and let us be completely holy -- by living in awe of God."

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, I am always amazed at the beauty of the incredible ocean . . . the endless wonders I see each day on my journey to the beach.

It is so reflective of His daily gift of promises to us. What do those promises consist of? Everlasting life, peace that passes all understanding, joy -- which becomes our strength, righteousness (right standing with Him), wisdom from above, love that covers even your enemies, direction for your life when you don't know where to go, prosperity that transcends your bank account, health to live life fully, peace for your children, life abundant, and so many more. How can we not be amazed by our Heavenly Father's goodness to us. What gifts He has promised those who follow Him.

As you walk your seashore of life today, know that you have access to these promises and many more -- every day of your life. All you have to do, is seek, ask and receive all your Father has promised you. He is waiting for you.

2 Peter 1:4 -- "He has granted to us His precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature."

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, I thought of a time when I had been wrongly accused, and thought of the hurt it had caused in my heart.

Do you know what it is like to be blamed unjustly? Or have you had things you are embarrassed about brought out into the open? It hurts to be treated in such a manner, doesn't it? And it takes a long time to recover from the pain and injustice.

Yet a time is coming when no adversary will exist to harm you -- God is making sure of it. He will not allow anyone to discredit you, and no one will hold anything against you. Rather, you will know what it is to be fully known and completely accepted . . . and loved!

As you walk the seashore of life today, imagine that day -- when every comment made about you is joyous and pleasing -- made with love. That is the future God has for you -- and that is why it is called heaven. Be prepared for the wonderful things your Father has prepared for you in the days to come.

Revelation 12:10 -- "The accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down."

As I walked the seashore with Jesus today, my mind reflected on the amazing sunrises He creates. I thought of the appearance of the sun as it slowly arises out of the ocean to create a breathtaking new day, every day.

As I watched this take place, I thought of how we are all citizens of spiritual daylight. You no longer need to hide yourself or your actions in darkness where there is no real armor, only the constant threat of being revealed. Rather, because of the brightness God has given you, your impenetrable protection now comes from faith and love.

Think of that in terms of the campaigns you encounter on a daily basis. You do not have to rely on covert strategies in order to advance to victory. It is your trust in God and how you care for others that exalt you.

Today, as you walk the seashore of your life, embrace the new rules of engagement. Concentrate on shining goodness into other people's lives. Become the sunrise for those around you that are in darkness.

Phillippians 2: 15-16 -- "You appear as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory, because I did not run in vain nor toil in vain."

As I walked the seashore with Jesus today, my thoughts went back to times when it seemed I had made wrong decisions for my life. Have you ever been there?

When you receive new information, facts that show you have been heading in the wrong direction or have made a faulty decision -- there are two basic tracks you can choose. You can either malign the new details or admit that you have been misinformed.

Though the mistake may not have been your fault, God is pleased when your heart is responsive. When you show humility, you communicate that you desire excellence in your life, and that you are willing to make things right.

When you have the right attitude, God honors you. Remember that as you walk on your seashore of life today. Be humble and be blessed by how delightfully God defends you.

2 Kings 22:19 -- "You were sorry and humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I said, so I have indeed heard you, says the Lord.

As I walk the seashore with Jesus today, I realize another new month is just beginning. My mind travels back to the journey I have taken in the last year. I thought of how many times I shared the story of a tragic situation in my life with those around me.

Sometimes you will be too weary to repeat your story one more time, and you will feel as if you have exhausted all of the people you usually talk to.

When it feels as if there is nobody you can confide in, remember that there is one who always listen to you. God is your excellent confident and friend -- and He already knows everything you are experiencing.

You are not alone. God is active on your behalf -- helping you carry your burdens. With great wisdom, He guides you in the right course.

Today as you walk your seashore of life, talk to your great and comforting God, and thank Him for being by your side.

Hebrews 7:25 -- "He always lives to speak to God for them."

Blessings and peace,
Sherron
