As I walked the seaside with Jesus, on the last day of this incredible year, I reflect of all the walks we have had connected in our spirits! What a year it has been!

As you walk your seashore of life today, take the time to think of all the events Jesus has walked with you and held your hand every moment of every day! He has been there for you through each event -- some good, some bad, some incredibly happy, some exciting, some sad, some you thought you would never get through! But the amazing fact is, He has been there with you through every moment of your year! What an amazing thought -- to know and be confident that you never walk that seashore of life alone! He promises He will be with you even to the end of the earth!

As you prepare for the New Year, we can all rejoice because He is there and has already gone before us! He knows every day, what is planned, what the outcome is, what the lesson is, and what the victory is that He has planned for you! What an exciting year He has planned for you in 2010! Rejoice and let's get ready to take off into an adventurous year with our Lord and Savior! He has awesome plans for His children! I am ready! Are you? Let's go for it!

Isaish 42:16 -- "I will guide them on paths they have not known. I will turn darkness to light in front of them, and rough places into level ground. I will not forsake them!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I realized the pelicans in the ocean just seem to float with the waves, riding with ease, not fighting or being anxious. They are totally surrendered to the motion of the waves and never ever seem to have an anxious thought!

This turned my thoughts to humans, and how we seem to fight surrendering to anything. We always seem to want our way, our will . . . which is the exact opposite of what Jesus said, "Not my will, but thine."

The more of God's divinity I touch, the more I need Him and the less I rely on myself. As I surrender myself to Him, self-reliance diminishes. I choose to surrender to God every moment of the day in my house, in my business, in every trial and temptation. My heart's desire is to surrender more fully, but I realize I cannot do this. So it is the Holy Spirit working in me not only to will but to carry out His plans for my life!

Let's surrender all we have and all we are to His plans this day! He knows what is best and can do what only He can do! It will be like taking a ride on the ocean waves . . . enjoy the ride!

Jeremiah 29:11 -- "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans for success and hope, not for failure!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the beach seemed deserted and quiet . . . as it always is in the winter months! But such a incredible time to hear the sweet soft voice of Jesus!

This year as I prepar to move into 2010, my commitment is to "hear His voice" more in the noise of the world! That means I will have to purpose to take time away from the crowds, the busyness, the activities of the day to day life! That is a challenge for me since I seem to be in the midst of everything, but I know the rewards of the quiet moments, listening for His voice, will be worth the sacrifice!

What about you as you plan your New Year. Do you want to hear more from God? Do you want to have His direction in your life? Do you want that confidence of knowing you are on His plan, not just a good plan you have put together? (Been there done that!) Then let's commit together, to make the time for Him in our planners for the New Year. Let's purpose to hear from Him on a daily basis in a specific quiet time, committed and dedicated to hearing from Him. That way we are sure to have success in the New Year! He is waiting for you so He can speak into our hearts. Let's be there!

1 Chronicles 16:11-12 -- "...seek His presence day and night; remember all the wonders He performed."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, everything seems to be pointing toward an even more exciting year than the past year! The sky is bright blue today, the air is brisk . . . the waves are echoing sounds into the air! It is as though all of creation is anticipating the excitement of a new beginning!

That is what our Father has for us every day . . . a new beginning! A new fresh day, full of promises that He wants to fulfill for His children. What an awesome way to live every day! A day of anticipation, a day of wonderment, a day of seeing our Father do amazing and wondrous things for us each day! We are truly blessed to live as believers every day we awaken to the love of a heavenly Father . . . a Father waiting to fill our lives with Himself!

As you walk into the New Year, meditate on these things. Commit to taking more walks on the beach to see the wonderful world your Father has created. Commit to taking more quiet moments with Him to see what He has for us. It is an exciting way to live, anticipating the incredible moments with the Maker of all creation! He is your heavenly Father just waiting for you to visit with Him. Show up! He is there in each day of life!

Habakkuk 1:5 -- "He is doing awesome and wondrous things in your day, that even if I told you you would not believe it!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of all the tired moments we have each spent getting through the Christmas season. I have heard many say, I will be glad when it is over, I want to get back to a regular schedule, I am tired and grumpy! What a sad thought to hear these during the most special time of the year! Shouldn't we be more motivated by our love for one another, especially this time of the year!

Absolutely everything that God does for you is prompted by His love. Though some imagine that God does things out of anger or a desire to control, Scripture is clear that God is motivated by His love for you.

With that in mind, it is clear what should inspire your interaction with God. Though respect is always appropriate, love is the primary impetus for how you respond to Him. Fear, obligation, and selfish ambition should never be the basis of your relationship with God. Serve Him gladly out of love, because of the love He has shown to you. It is the most wonderful and powerfully motivating force you will ever need.

2 Corinthians 5:14 -- "Christ's love compels us."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my mind was still thinking of the spirit of Christmas that seems to make everyone so kind and joyful. They seem to be more thoughtful, more peaceful, more loving . . . in every way!

I thought it would be wonderful if we could only make every day Christmas . . . so we could celebrate the birth of Jesus every day. After all, we get to live a joyful, peaceful, victorious life every day -- in the spirit because of the gift of Jesus. So, why does it have to end on the day after Christmas? Why not carry that same spirit throughout the whole year? After all, we carry Him in our spirits every day . . . so why not be thankful, joyful and loving every day? He is watching our behavior every day! Wouldn't that be a wonderful thought, to celebrate Christmas everyday -- not just one day of the year? I think it would change our whole outlook on life and the life of those around us!

So I have vowed to make every day Christmas in the New Year . . . every day carry that same spirit, that same love, joy and peace throughout every day! Why not join me, and see what a difference it will make for you in the New Year. Don't pass out if you see me on the beach and I say Merry Christmas!

Matthew 28:20 - "Low I am with you always, even unto the end of the world!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I was filled with joy from the celebration of my Savior's birthday. What a blessed day to be alive!

Do you know how blessed we are to be able to celebrate His birthday? Let's refocus on what is important as we go through this season and remember what we are celebrating. What is the reason for the season -- the joyous day we were given eternal life! This day we were given freedom . . . this day we were given a reason to live! What a wonderful gift He has given us. Today should be the best day of our lives . . . and we should celebrate it every day . . . not just on this day!

As you celebrate with your family -- remember the gift love, and the gift of life you have been given . . . and share it with others! We are blessed, and should be full of joy as we live our lives daily throughout the year! Share your gift of life with others today! And Merry Christmas to all.

Matthew 1:21 -- "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call His name Jesus. For He shall save His people from their sins."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, being only two days before the birth of Christ, I thought of young Mary and how overwhelmed she must have felt at the assignment given to her. Can you even imagine what must have gone through her mind?

Have you ever had a Mary moment -- when God spoke something totally outrageous to you -- that did not make sense and yet you knew that you knew it was the God in heaven speaking to you? He asked you to say "yes" to an assignment that would change your life forever? You shook your head to shake out the cobwebs to be sure you were hearing correctly. You walked around bewildered for a couple of days, wondering if you really heard right. You played the scenario over in your mind to be sure you had a handle on it. Then you heard a word from a friend, a pastor or maybe even a stranger that knew nothing about your life situation, that totally confirmed the assignment from the Lord. If so, did you then respond as Mary did -- with praise in your heart?

Is God speaking to you today about a lifetime assignment, or are you still waiting on your lifetime assignment? God gives each assignment in His perfect timing, so let's stay close to Him and His Word and be ready to say "yes" when He speaks.

Luke 1:46-49 -- "My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant. For behold, henceforth, all generations will call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me."

December 23, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I thought of His birthday . . . only two days away, and what gift could I take the King of Kings. What do I have to offer?

As these thoughts flooded my mind, I heard Him say, "Offer yourself, that is enough." I think of myself and what a mess I must be in His eyes . . . with all my shortcomings, but that is what He wanted . . . me!

Can you imagine the love He must have for us in saying that all He wants is our hearts? What a loving Father, who cares more about our hearts that anything else? It is such a humbling thought, to know the King of Kings, wants only our hearts to be presented to Him on His birthday. But then we know if we present our hearts, we will follow with our whole lives. That is the heart of a child, to please His father, and how much more so for our Heavenly Father! He loves us so much and has so much He wants to give to us when we present ourselves to Him.

Today during this season, let's make a vow to give our whole hearts to Him as a gift! That is pleasing to Him and He will make our hearts like His . . . loving, forgiving, joyful! What a gift in return!

Romans 12:1 -- "I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I heard the gentle waves lapping on the sand . . . almost following my footsteps.

Isn't that the way Jesus does us? He follows us gently throughout our days, our lives, hoping we will stop long enough to hear His voice. Hoping we will stop and spend time with Him so He can speak into our lives. What a loving Father we have! He is always pursuing us -- chasing us, so He can give us the blessings He has prepared for us!

Today as you walk your seashore of live, take the time to stop and let Him catch you! Spend the time to hear Him speak . . . especially in this season with the hectic schedules we get caught up in. He is there on your seashore of life, just waiting for you to stop and let Him speak!

Psalm 42:1 -- "As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the beach was deserted with the exception of a lone sand piper wandering close to the water.

The beach is always a great place to find yourself along with God. He is always there, waiting to speak, in that still small voice . . . to have fellowship with Him, just to be His child walking the beach! It is such a blessing to know that He will meet you wherever you are.

Your beach may be in the city, or the country, but He is not limited by where you live but where you are in your heart. He wants open hearts that He can touch with His finger of love, to gently open places we hold on to . . . to tenderly heal past hurts, and things we are holding on to . . . to release that we can be free. Isn't it love from a Father that we all need?

Psalm 40:8 -- "I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus, it is cold and dreary . . . and the wind is blowing the sand into piles along the beach, changing the calm quiet beach into a messy windblown sight.

In this season, as we reflect on Jesus . . . and see how He changes our lives when He interrupts our plans with His wind, it is amazing to see how often we respond with resistance. That is our first response to change . . . resistance. Why? Because none of us like change. We become accustomed to the way things are. We get comfortable and when He comes along and requires change, it doesn't always "feel" good and we say no, or we take our time and think we can do it our way! We can miss His perfect plan when we hesitate too long!

As we have time to reflect on our lives in the season, let's take a look at where we are with Him. What is it that He is asking us to change? It may just be a simple attitude, or the way we respond to others, but nevertheless, He is always moving us towards Him. Let's be aware of that voice leading us into His image, and move when He speaks.

Exodus 15:25 -- "There He tested them."

December 19, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my thoughts were taken back over the past year . . . and the choices made along the way. How did I determine the choices made -- what were the influences that determined yes -- or no -- in each situation? How do you know what to do in each circumstance?

Many of us do not know and understand how God leads us daily . . . it is in the gentle "checks" that he speaks. It is His delicate restraints and constraints. His voice is a "gentle whisper." A whisper can hardly be heard, so it must be felt as a faint and steady pressure upon the heart and mind, like the touch of a morning breeze calmly moving across the soul, just as the breeze when you walk along the beach. And when it is heeded, it quietly grows clearer in the inner of the heart.

God's voice is directed to the ear of love, and true love is intent upon hearing even the faintest whisper. Today as prepare for this busy season, let His love speak to you . . . listen with your heart and follow His gentle leading. Let this be a new way for choices in the New Year. Listen for His whispers more in this season, stop long enough to feel the gentle nudges . . . and let it be the greatest Christmas of your life!

1 Kings 19:12 -- "After the earthquake came a fire . . . And after the fire came a gentle whisper."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a broken reed had washed upon the beach. I thought of how we are often broken by the waves of life!

Isn't it amazing that God wants to prove Himself to you? He knows there will be situations that you are not strong enough to handle, and He wants you to fully trust in Him as your defender.

Has some recent incident exposed an area of your weakness? Are you discouraged because it goes to the heart of who you want to be? Be encouraged that it is a phenomenal opportunity for God to show you His power.

Give your heart to Him completely during this season, and receive His strength. Not only will you have all the power you need, but you will also have proof of God's faithfulness.

Deuteronomy 3:24 -- "O Lord God, you have only begun to show your servant your greatness, and your mighty hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do do such works and mighty acts as yours?"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the beach was silent and calm. It was such a contrast to the sounds of the season we are in . . . with the hustle and bustle of life. The lapping of the waves was calming to my soul.

Quietness with God is sometimes a challenge for us to find . . . as we rush through our busy life. But it is so essential to a life of peace and victory. Without His invasion into our hearts we will never have the peace He wants to give us daily. We look for it in so many places other than sitting quietly before Him.

God waits for us each day to come meet Him. Are you expecting Him this morning? He is waiting for you today. Come and sit with Him and let Him speak to you today. Let Him touch you today and hear what He is saying to you . . . peace waits for you in His presence even in the midst of a busy life.

Proverbs 15: 33 -- "The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord brings instruction in Wisdom, and humility comes before honor."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, it was amazing to see the covering of clouds reminding me of how God covers me . . . it is reassuring to know my Father loves me so much!!

Job knew God. After a lifetime of seeking and serving Him, he understood God's great wisdom, power, and love. And so, when trouble flooded Job's life, he was not fazed. Though he experienced pain and sorrow, he still trusted.

Today, as you recline from a day of your own troubles, hopefully you are comforted by your relationship with God, by His loving character and profound wisdom. Because when you have experienced his grace, you realize that no matter what happens he will help you. Cling to Him in faith and trust. Like the gentle shepherd, He will guide you through your troubles, and your confidence in Him will be strengthened.

Job 13:15 -- "Tough He slay me, yet will I trust Him."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, there seemed to be no end to the ocean as I looked across the horizon of waves. But I knew there was an ending just as there is a beginning.

The promise that God makes a thing beautiful in His time necessarily indicates that there are unpleasant moments. Beginnings are generally tinged with some adventurous excitement and discovery, and yet they are also full of unknowns and uncomfortable adjustments. During the middle times, mundane toil can overwhelm and dishearten. However, if the focus is God, wonderful, sustaining graces -- such as patience and endurance -- develop.

It is in the end -- in the bittersweet of looking back -- that you can see the true beauty of the journey. Wherever you are on the path today, look for the beauty in it. From beginning to end, God makes it lovely.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 -- "He has made everything beautiful in its time."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the beach was gray with the fog that closed in on the beach. The sun was hidden but I knew that it was there behind the clouds.

That is the way it is with us at times in our lives. It seems that God is nowhere to be found, silent behind the scenes, but He is there . . . working on our behalves to make sure all our lives are successful in the spirit realm.

We can't see His hand at work, but we can feel in our spirits that He is in control and He is moving and rearranging things in our lives to be sure we have a good ending. Isn't that an amazing thought -- that even in the storms He is working on our behalves so we will have a good ending? Who would not want to live for Him and know He is always before us -- working for us and not against us. That is truly an amazing thought.

Be blessed today as you walk your seashore of life, knowing that He only wants good things for you, and He is there . . . every moment of your life, working on a good plan for your life -- a good ending that will show the world that your Father in heaven only has good things in store for you!

Jeremiah 29:11 -- "For I know the plans I have for you, plans for success, not for calamity, plans for a future and a hope."

December 13, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my thoughts were on the busyness of the season and how complicated it has become as we rush around the holidays, trying to get everything just perfect for those around us -- and some of them don't even notice.

I wanted to go back to a time when it seemed simple and focused on the love we share in this season. The things that count seem to become dislocated in the hurried spirit that has overtaken our holiday! It is stress, rush, push, and then more stress, rush, push.

How can we change this spirit that keeps us from enjoying the real reason for the season? Let's take time to sit and enjoy the family and friends around us -- and not get lost in the superficial activities of the season. Take some time for sitting and meditating on the blessings that surround you. Take a friend to have some hot chocolate and tell them what a blessing they are to you. Share a meal with a widow or someone that is all alone in this season.

Today as you go into the last two weeks of the season, focus on the season with a new focus . . . Jesus is the true reason for this season. Share Him with someone that needs to be blessed in this season. This is the best way to bring His spirit into your Christmas this year! Be blessed and enjoy the holidays -- with a heart overtaken with love for Him!

Isaiah 26: 3 -- "Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I watched a lone little sandpiper wander from the flock of his family. He seemed to be out of place and wandering in circles.

After great victories, defeats and even during times of waiting, you will sometimes feel far from God, perhaps even unworthy of His presence. It can happen when you have not spent any time with Him. Sometimes you will feel that way when you have been serving Him faithfully, but the work has replaced Him as your focus.

Yet no matter how far from God you feel, He is really only one turn away -- the move your heart makes back to Him. His arms are always outstretched toward you, and He wants you to realize that He always wants you back.

Today, run to His open arms. You'll be glad you did.

Psalm 139:7 -- "Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence?"

Blessings and peace,
Sherron

December 11, 2009

As I walked the seashore with Jesus today, I watched the sandpiper walking beside me . . . started one way, then turned and started the other way. It seemed as though the little creature could not make up his mind which way to go.

We are like that with God sometimes . . . either God is the almighty Creator of the universe who can help you -- or He is not. Either God can raise the dead and likewise bring your hopes and dreams to life -- or the foundational claims of the Bible are false.

Sometimes it can feel like there is a great deal of gray area between believing God and not. However, halfway trusting Him and having a backup plan usually cause more heartaches and confusion rather than peace and serenity.

Today, as you walk your seashore of life, if you have been struggling with whether to have faith in God or not, realize that it is time to make up your mind. Have confidence in God, because He has never let anyone down.

1 Kings 18:21 -- "How long will you halt and limp between two opinions?"

December 10, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the winds were kicking up with warnings of a storm brewing. The winds always make the walk more difficult, but not impossible.

God does not ask you to do things that are humanly possible. He does not fill your heart with goals that you could easily achieve on your own.

Rather, God gives you dreams that are far bigger and more wonderful than you could ever aspire to, dreams that can only be accomplished if He is actively involved in your life.

Why? Because God wants you to know that the good that happens to you is from Him -- so that you will rely on Him.

He is bringing the hopes that burn in you into being. So today, as you walk your seashore of life, trust Him to make all those impossible dreams come true.

Matthew 19:26 -- "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible."

Blessings and peace,
Sherron

December 9, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, again I watched the waves that seemed endless . . . just like the power of God. He has no limits to what He wants to do for you . . . it requires our trust!

God heard the Israelites' cries when they were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt. He prepared Moses to be their deliverer. He sent ten plagues to convince Pharaoh to set them free. God even parted the Red Sea to help the Israelites escape from the Egyptian army.

After He had done so much for the Israelites, they should have known that His love and power were absolutely limitless -- and that He would provide all they need.

So should you and I. Today, be confident that God will do all that He has promised to you. Trust Him and be patient. Soon you will see everything He has said come true for you.

Numbers 11:23 -- "Is the Lord's power limited? Now you shall see whether My word will come true for you."

Blessings and peace,
Sherron

December 8, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I could fill the reasurring love of my Father washing over me, just as the water washed over the soft sand. What a comforting thought -- to know that God always does precisely as He says. He has unfailingly kept every pledge to His people since the beginning and He is doing so with you as well.

What you are not guaranteed is that God will always act as you expect Him to.

In fact, because He has an eternal focus, you are assured that He will accomplish His plans in a manner that exceeds your expectations. You will see your heart's desires come to fruition in a way that brings you supernatural joy and peace.

Today as you walk your seashore of life, trust that God will do exactly as He promised -- and that there is nothing on earth or in heaven that can stop Him.

Acts 27:25 -- "Cheer up! I am sure that God will do exactly what He promised!"

Blessings and peace,
Sherron

December 7, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, a small dove followed me along the beach . . . not seeming to care that I had joined him for the morning walk.

It was a reminder that I had another one walking with me -- Jesus himself who promises to never leave me or forsake me. That is such an incredible thought -- to know we are never alone, never forsaken. What a promise to stand on as we live in this chaotic world filled with issues that only a God in heaven can resolve.

Knowing that we never walk alone, no matter what we face, gives us peace to live life with joy and confidence. It enables us to share life with others in our daily walk, wherever that may be. You have been given the power to live victoriously because you walk with the life giver -- Jesus!

Today as you walk your seashore of life, let Him put a skip in your walk because you will never walk alone! He is there -- every day through every challenge and will always be with you to the very end of the ages! Step high, walk victoriously through this day -- and give that life to someone else!

Hebrews 13:5 -- "....For He Himself has said, 'I will ever leave you nor forsake you.'"

Blessings and peace,
Sherron

December 6, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the sun shining on the water gives the illusions of diamonds glistening across the horizon. It reminds me of the stars at night that dance in the sky, the stars that Jesus named one by one.

How amazing is the God we serve, that He has named each star in the galaxy that covers the sky at night. Do you really ever just sit and imagine how awesome is the God you and I serve? So great that nothing was created that He did not think it -- speak it -- and create it? And yet, we limit Him with our own small thoughts, worries and concerns daily . . . like children that question a parent when problems arise.

But our Father in heaven has covered our entire span of life. He knew us even before we were formed . . . just think on that today as your walk your seashore of life. He has every day of your life covered and written in His book. Look at the stars tonight and think on the God that you and I serve . . . it is a magnificent thought to carry in our hearts! What a mighty God we serve!

Isaiah 40:26 -- "Lift your eyes on high, and see who has created these things . . . He calls them all by name by the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one is missing."

Blessings and peace,
Sherron

December 5, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the silence was overwhelming. I wanted to hear the voice of God, but there was only silence.

There is nothing that can cause ansiety like silence. You can pray to God with faith and passion about something dear to you, and then you hear absolutely nothing. Soon your hope begins to fade away.

Yet God heard you and has been preparing an answer since the first moment you prayed. Just because there is no visible evidence of His work in your situation does not mean He is ignoring you or has rejected your request.

On the contrary, He has taken your pleas to heart and is working diligently to provide what you need. Today, as you walk your seashore of life,do not despise or fear the silence, because God is most certainly sending His answer.

Daniel 10:12 -- "Don't be afraid! God has listened to your prayers since the first day you humbly asked for understanding, and He has sent me here."

Blessings and peace,
Sherron

December 4, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my focus was on the joy of being able to walk freely and enjoy life with my Lord and Savior! What a blessing!

It will come as no surprise to you that much of your success is dependent upon your focus. However, it may astonish you that what Jesus centered on -- what brought him victory -- was joy!

He was able to face the cross by looking past it to the wonderfully joyous prospect of offering you a relationship with God and doing God's will.

And so, knowing the delight God takes in you, be happy to fix your concentration on Him today. Then, no matter what happens, He is the joy ahead of you. And focusing on Him will give you a greater success than any other, because you will share in His certain and eternal triumph.

Hebrews 12:2 -- "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross."

Blessings and peace,
Sherron

December 3, 2009

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, I saw the dolphins playing, the sand pipers feeding along the shoreline . . . every one peaceful and in harmony.

Isn't it amazing at the harmony God planned for the world, and yet so many of us do not have the peace of God He planned for us. We walk in worry, anxiety, fretfulness, anger . . . not the peace He promised us for this life.

Why can we not trust Him and let Him be the Lord in our lives. He is our peace! As we focus on His word, He promises that we can have peace amidst the world of turmoil that we live in. We can take Him at His Word. If He says we can have peace in the storm, we can have it! Why don't we take that peace and apply it in our lives daily? Why do we try to carry what only He can carry?

Today as you walk your seashore of life, no matter what you may be facing, remember that He has provided a peace that will cover any obstacles that try to rob you of your joy! Today, rely on the peace that your Father has provided. It is truly the way to live victoriously in this world today, among the storms of life! Peace -- is yours from your Father!

Phillipians 4:6-7 -- "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, my heart was glad to experience the silence of the deserted beach. Here is where I hear the voice of my Father . . . in the quiet moments along the seashore -- away from the voices of the busy holiday!

Today as you prepare for the season, remember to take time away to hear His voice. It is easy to get so caught up in the hectic schedule of this season that we even forget why we are celebrating! It is our Savior's birthday -- the reason all of us can celebrate life and life more abundantly. He is the reason for the season . . . and it seems at times He gets hidden with the gifts we become so preoccupied with!

Remember -- He is the gift . . . the gift that has given the world a way to live life eternally. What a gift! Let your focus this season be on the real reason to celebrate. Give love, not empty gifts . . . love is the true gift from our Father. This season let's focus on how we can give the true gift He has given us to others. Let it be a season to truly celebrate the real gift -- the gift of love so great that He gave His life! Let it be a season full of love -- true agape love!!

John 3:16 -- "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life!"

As I walked the seaside with Jesus today, the sunrise broke through the sky in a magnificent way. Another new beginning -- and nothing in this day looked the same as yesterday.

Another new beginning -- December -- a new month is here. Isn't it wonderful to know that every day is a new beginning with our Father? Each day brings new and fresh promises, just as He spoke in His Word in Lamentations 3:23 . . . they are new every morning.

What a wonderful Word to keep in our hearts as we experience today. Every morning His compassions fail not! We are so blessed to know our Lord never gets tired of giving us a fresh start, a new beginning, no matter what we have experienced, or how many times it seems we have failed. To begin each day with that confidence -- that we are loved, cherished and so important to our Father should be something we meditate on and carry with us throughout the day!

Today as you walk your seashore of life, walk with confidence that today is a new beginning full of love from your Father. That should put a skip in your walk! And don't forget to share the blessing with others -- they may just be needing a new beginning for their life!

Lamentations 3:22-23 -- "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not . . . They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Blessings and peace,
